As we age, a majority of us are concerned that our joints will not allow us to maintain an active life. A large proportion would seem to prefer to rely on a natural solution to any percieved future concern. Rose Hips are rich in vitamin C and carotenoids including beta-carotene, Lycopene and Lutein. They are also a source of flavanoids and fatty acids and have subsequently been used to help with a wide variety of concerns, commonly as a general tonic and more recently, for joint concerns. Each of our capsules contains 400mg of highly concentrated herbal Rosehip Extract (4:1), which is the equivalent to 1600mg of the fresh herb.
Rosehips were traditionally used during WW2 to provide Vitamin C, which was needed especially by children. The blockade of imports during that time meant that oranges were rarely available. The Rosehips were gathered and converted into the famous Rose Hip Syrup. The hips were also used to make a herbal tea. Their use has once again returned to popularity.
